Process Technician Location:
Independence, KY Position Type:
Full Time, Non-Exempt Reports to:
Process Engineering Manager Purpose:
Onsite support for process group projects
Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct pilot testing according to plans created by the Process Engineering group.
  • Collect trial data and prepare written reports for the Process Analyst, submitting data on time for customer report generation.
  • Provide hands-on machine operations training to customers.
  • Coordinate internally on the diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment problems in the field.
  • Troubleshoot a variety of different aftermarket process and electrical issues.
  • Assist process engineers in test plans for onsite and in-house trials.
  • Learn the capabilities, features, and benefits of the Flottweg product offering and develop the capacity to suggest appropriate equipment for various applications.
  • Support all communications with FWSE, Engineering, Sales, and Aftermarket.
  • Travel to FWSE periodically for training.
  • Additional travel with Sales and Aftermarket for customer and application exposure will be required periodically.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • This role will require a well-rounded understanding of mechanical, electrical/controls, and process systems.
  • An ability to handle many open projects that are time critical and ever changing is essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills are required.
  • The position will require the candidate to become an internal expert of the equipment and the processes/systems of our customers.
  • English fluency required.
Spanish, French, German, and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
Eligibility:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to travel in North America and Europe as required (75%)
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
