40.0 (3rd shift) Overview The main function of a Process Development Technician is to support the design, testing, and optimization of manufacturing or laboratory processes. A typical Process Development Technician works closely with engineers and scientists to implement new procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure process efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities Attend the 9:00 PM shift huddle to receive nightly assignments and priorities. Perform sanitization and cleaning activities within laboratory and manufacturing areas.
Sanitize:
Floors Countertops Drains Walls (monthly cleanings) Safety showers Operate cleaning equipment, including walk-behind scrubbers and Matador scrubbers (training provided). Complete required GMP and site-specific training. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurately document completed work. Support process improvement, validation, and manufacturing activities as assigned. Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and operations teams to support project goals. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Ability to reliably work overnight (3rd shift). Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Science, or related field preferred 2-4 years of experience in process development, manufacturing, or laboratory support Basic computer skills. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform light physical work, including lifting and moving 20-30 lb buckets. Strong willingness to learn is more important than specific technical experience. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Frequent standing and movement throughout the shift. No machinery disassembly or maintenance responsibilities .
