Job Description
Job Summary Our client is a manufacturer looking for a Chemical Engineer. This is a Direct Hire position with full benefits. This role will include contamination control and will require advanced chemical knowledge. Duties Responsible for contamination control strategies. Mitigate photochemical and surface-driven degradation mechanisms through root-cause-analysis. Evaluate and select materials, including polymers, metals, adhesives, coatings, solvents, and cleaning agents. Develop cleaning and handling processes based on chemical and surface-science knowledge. Collaborate with R&D teams regularly on chemical and contamination related manufacturing processes. Requirements Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field. Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Knowledge of DUV optical systems and UV induced chemical reactions.
