We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Analytical Development department supporting the R D testing of respiratory drug products in the MannKind pipeline.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support R D testing of inhaled dosage forms. Specific testing includes aerodynamic Particle Size Distribution (APSD) using cascade impactors and fast screening impactors. Assist with UPLC setup. Prepare standards and required solutions for UPLC analysis. Assist with any other laboratory activities as needed. Document, compile, review, and present data. Comply with safety guidelines and good laboratory practices which include the maintenance of laboratory documentation, written procedures and laboratory notebooks. Work with hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with MannKind safety policies and procedures. What You Bring to the
Table:
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, or bioengineering, preferably within 1-2 years of graduation. Strong general lab abilities (analytical skills are a plus). Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Attention to detail. Fluency in MS Office software. Accuracy in following instructions, generating data, and documenting data and procedures.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Prior experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotech industries You possess superior time management and organizational skills. Experience with general laboratory procedures is a plus. You have an intrinsic motivation to continually improve and optimize processes. You take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and act on them without needing constant direction. You are open to constructive criticism and use it to improve performance and grow professionally.
