Qualifications A student in a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program. 0-5 years of experience in control or data acquisition system design, implementation, or commissioning. A desire to learn software development in high-level programming languages such as C/C++/C# and in engineering application software tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB andSIMULINK.
An interest and background in electronics, instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems, PLCs, variable frequency drive systems, motion control systems, sensors and transmitters, actuators, PID control, and communication networks. A solid math background to select and develop data uncertainty calculations, digital filter algorithms, control transfer function realizations, and process simulation. Ability and willingness to work in a team environment to design, develop, and deliver control and data acquisition systems. US CitizenshipESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
