The Development Engineering Co-Op/Intern will perform entry level engineering tasks and complete projects as assigned. The intern and co-op program will provide hands-on meaningful work experiences in the Lightspeed/R D department to improve analytical, communication and program skills. Successful candidates for this role will gain valuable experience in the medical device industry which could shape career decisions and create future employment opportunities. This position will support the department, typically working as an assignee on smaller scale Design & Engineering projects or tasks related to larger scale Design & Engineering projects. The tasks/projects performed by this individual will typically be monitored or managed by an Engineer. Join Resonetics and be part of a team that's redefining medical device manufacturing. Implementing floor layout improvements Execution of general on and off laser job tasks to complete customer orders. Perform equipment set up, part production, and maintenance of laser workstations. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School diploma or Equivalent Ability to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processes. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand engineering drawings using a GD&T system. Ability to generate drawings and models (2D & 3D CAD) using GD&T. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or 13485 and/or FDA Part 820 Compensation The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $25-30 per hour based on the years of schooling undergone.
