Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support a high-volume plastic injection molding operation. This role plays a key part in driving process stability, quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Blue Springs, MO Salary:
$95,000
•$110,000
Relocation:
Assistance available for the right candidate 2nd

2:00 PM
•11:00 PM OR 3rd
Shift:
10:00 PM
•8:00
AM Training:
2-4 weeks on 1st shift
Duties:
Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime, scrap, and increase efficiency Troubleshoot injection molding processes, tooling, and equipment Optimize molding machines (up to 500 ton), automation, and robotics systems Perform capability studies, process analysis, and DOE Improve cycle times, material usage, and overall process performance Collaborate closely with operators, quality, and process technicians Support engineering changes and new product/process launches Maintain and update work instructions and process documentation Mentor and develop a young, growing team of
Process Technicians Qualifications:
Strong, hands-on experience in plastic injection molding Proven success in reducing downtime, scrap, and improving efficiency Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives Knowledge of process capability, SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and collaborating cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automation and robotics in molding environments Automotive manufacturing background Experience mentoring or training others
