Position Overview The Process Engineer, reporting to the Plant Manager, is responsible for developing, refining, and troubleshooting the rubber molding processes and providing guidance and mentoring to Process Technicians. In your role you will provide day-to-day plant-wide technical manufacturing support, while ultimately improving the overall plant efficiency and quality. Additionally, you will manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously, use lean manufacturing tools and engage your advanced problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to address quality and efficiency issues. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the various aspects of the process engineering including design, planning and development Undertake scoping study level trade-off evaluations of process alternatives Assist in the development of processing plans, methods, design, material handling, staffing requirements, cost analysis and other areas as appropriate Oversee the cost-effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations Responsible for new compound development and documentation Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred with injection molding classes or internship or 5 years of experience in rubber/plastics injection molding Solid working knowledge of rubber/plastics molds and related tooling Exposure to rubber mixing and extrusion processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Solid Edge a plus Experience in lean manufacturing is preferred If you're passionate about delivering exceptional quality processes and products, thrive in a collaborative team environment, embrace continuous improvement, and want to have a meaningful voice in shaping our processes—we want to hear from you!
