Senior Plastic Injection Molding Technologist#26-00979 St. Louis, MO
Onsite Job Description Job Description:
What will you do? Serve as a key point of reference for Technologists and support the Technical Manager in setting priorities, removing bottlenecks, and addressing critical issues. Set up product recipes, ensuring all required regulations and PLC parameters are correctly applied. Perform necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments and monitor production variables to ensure product specifications are met. Conduct investigations and troubleshooting to resolve quality issues. Train and support production staff in resolving minor technical problems affecting product quality. Carry out electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning systems, dryers, leak testers, cameras, palletizers, etc.). Develop solutions by fabricating mechanical or other components to address production or technical issues and improve machine performance. Support the Technical Manager in continuous improvement projects and in decisions regarding machines, equipment, molds, and processes. What are we looking for? Excellent knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM), with specific experience in Husky injection molding of PET preforms on high-cavitation molds. Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems. Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques. Good applied knowledge of WCM standards. Minimum 5 years' experience working with industry specific technologies and productive processes. What do we offer?
