As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible designing and optimizing chemical manufacturing process to include but not limited to process technology capabilities, technology transfer, process reliability and repeatability, product yield and quality, equipment design, process safety, process controls and manufacturing documentation. With strong technical skills, direct "hands-on" field experience and passion for innovation, you will play a critical role in driving our company's continued success. Roles and Responsibilities Design and optimize chemical processes to meet production goals, drive quality improvements, ensure process optimization and exceed quality/manufacturing standards. Perform daily "field walks" to verify equipment status, troubleshoot abnormalities, and support commissioning activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies. Conduct process and equipment design reviews. Facilitate technology transfer by translating laboratory-scale R D into commercial manufacturing processes - optimizing production, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing technology commercialization, and ongoing improvements. Responsible for writing and maintaining batch procedures for new or improved processes. Apply statistical techniques in order to improve, track, investigate quality problems and meet customer requirements. Assist with Annual Maintenance Shutdown. Participate in PHA's and HAZOP studies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Five years' experience in chemical processing industry or comparable experience in manufacturing Strong ability to identify problems, root cause and preventive measures. In-depth knowledge and understanding of chemistry, chemical processes and their associated hazards, plant utilities systems, automated process control systems and associated hazards. Ability to author, modify and interpret CAD drawings and P&ID's Experience usingMicrosoft Office Tools:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint Experience in utilizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.Job Type:
