Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join Us Position Summary The Process Control Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing process control strategies that improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability throughout the optical fiber manufacturing process. This role partners closely with production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and automation teams to analyze manufacturing data, troubleshoot process issues, and implement continuous improvements. Experience with optical fiber manufacturing processes—including VAD (Vapor Axial Deposition), OVD (Outside Vapor Deposition), AVD (Axial Vapor Deposition), PCVD (Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition), preform manufacturing, and fiber draw operations —is highly preferred. Candidates with strong industrial process control and automation experience from similar manufacturing environments are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize process control strategies to improve manufacturing performance. Analyze production and process data to identify trends, variation, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
