The Role We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, NC This is a highly hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working across departments to improve process reliability, product performance, and manufacturing efficiency. The candidate will play a key role in both troubleshooting current processes and developing new ones, as well as support our efforts in creating new, extruded yarn technologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve process issues related to multifilament yarn extrusion
  • Develop and optimize processes for new yarn products and performance goals
  • Recommend materials and equipment to improve quality and efficiency
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives with measurable impact on throughput and consistency
  • Standardize and document operating procedures; provide training for production personnel
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to maintain product standards
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred, Textile or Mechanical optional)
  • Experience with multifilament yarn extrusion or related fiber production processes
  • Working knowledge of extrusion technologies as well as parameters and their effect on yarn properties and costs
  • Proficiency with yarn testing methods (e.g., Tensile strength, shrinkage, denier, bulk)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Self-starter with a hands-on, solutions-driven mindset
