This is a direct-hire, fully onsite opportunity for an engineer with hands-on plastics manufacturing experience who enjoys working closely with production, tooling and manufacturing teams to solve problems and improve processes. The company is looking for someone who can contribute to injection molding operations, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, improve process performance, and support tooling and new product/process development. Responsibilities Develop, improve and troubleshoot plastic molding and manufacturing processes Establish and optimize process parameters to improve quality, consistency, cycle time and yield Troubleshoot molding defects and production issues and identify root causes Work closely with molds, tooling, manufacturing equipment and production teams Support mold and tooling improvements and new tooling initiatives Assist with new product and process development from concept through production Analyze manufacturing data and recommend process improvements Support continuous improvement, quality and cost-reduction initiatives Collaborate with engineering, production, quality and other technical teams Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on plastics manufacturing, process engineering or molding engineering experience Direct experience with injection molding strongly preferred Experience working with molds, tooling and plastic processing Strong manufacturing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of plastics/polymer materials and molding behavior Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics/Polymer Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred Experience with Moldflow, mold-filling simulation, CAD/3D modeling, FEA or similar engineering tools is a plus, but not required Experience with extrusion or other plastics manufacturing processes is also valuable Schedule & Location Full-time, direct hire First shift, approximately 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Fully onsite in Ewing, NJ Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Ewing or relocate Compensation $95,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance Company-paid life and AD&D insurance Company-paid short- and long-term disability 401(k) with company match Paid time off Paid holidays Elite Finders is an equal opportunity recruiting firm.
