Job Summary:

Responsible for metrology monitoring and maintaining various aspects of InP BH laser wafer fabrication processes including holographic grating process, photolithography, film deposition, etch, etc. Responsible for developing necessary new processes for advanced III-V semiconductor lasers.

Responsibilities:

Ensure laser wafer fabrication processes running smoothly, using various engineering means including SPC. Troubleshoot any issues occurring in the laser fabrication process. Conduct continuous improvement on relevant processes Work with device design engineers on DOE for process development Write relevant work instructions and train production technicians Work with Equipment Engineers and help to maintain process equipment Develop metrology method to monitor and characterize processes Maintain SPC. Analysis of process data and periodic presentation of reports. Work with equipment suppliers and other suppliers

Requirements:

M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering. 1-3 years' experience in Semiconductor Fab. Hands on experience with photolithography, dry/wet etch, wafer clean processes. Skilled in characterization methods, including SEM, EDS, ellipsometer, profilometer.
