Hours:
6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays off We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Setup Technician to join a manufacturing team in Palmyra, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This position requires strong technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. Don't miss this potential to hire role on 1st shift. Plastic-Molding Injection Set Up Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Set up and change injection molds according to production requirements
  • Start up and shut down molding machines, ensuring optimal operation and quality standards
  • Adjust processing parameters to maintain consistent production and resolve molding issues
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on molding equipment
  • Monitor machines during operation to identify and correct issues in real time
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Maintain accurate setup and production documentation
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Plastic-Molding Injection Set Up Requirements:
  • Prior experience in plastic injection molding setup and processing required
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Knowledge of molding equipment, auxiliary equipment, and related tools
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed
