Job Description

Inova Staffing Services is looking for a temp-to-hire Process Tech for one of our clients in Wooster, OH.
Compensation & Hours:
2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:45pm-10:45pm$20-22/hr (Based on experience)Weekends as needed An Injection Molding Process Technician is a skilled professional who sets up, operates, monitors, and troubleshoots plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. They possess a strong understanding of materials, tooling, and equipment specific to the injection molding process.
Typical Job Duties:
Machine Setup:
Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and ensure proper functioning of auxiliary equipment.
Process Monitoring:
Continuously observe machine operation, monitor part quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve processing issues such as defects, inconsistencies, and machine malfunctions.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts for defects, measure dimensions, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment, and report any major repairs needed.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production data, and maintenance activities.
Safety:
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field are a plus.

Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.

Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials (thermoplastics), and tooling.

Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments.

Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Scientific molding principles and techniques is preferred.

Experience with automation and robotics in Injection mold is a Plus.
