Responsibilities Process Engineering Technician Responsibilities:
Process Performance & Optimization- Identify, analyze, and eliminate process losses, instability, and inefficiencies to improve safety, quality, cost, reliability, and throughput. Technical Ownership & Change Management
- Serve as technical owner for assigned process improvements. Ensure engineering changes are properly tested, validated, documented, approved, and sustained. Equipment Health & Reliability Support
- Monitor equipment condition and performance.
- Promote a strong safety culture & participate in hazard analyses, incident investigations, and corrective action development. Ensure all engineering and process changes comply with regulatory and company requirements. Performance Tracking & Communication
- Track KPIs, action items, and improvement effectiveness.
Process Engineering Technician Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience supporting production operations and equipment-intensive processes. Proven track record of leading or supporting process improvement initiatives. Experience working directly with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams. Familiarity with process documentation, standard work, and change management. Basic to intermediate data analysis skills (process metrics, trends, KPIs). Experience with commissioning, trials, testing, and validation activities preferred. Ability and willingness to spend significant time on the production floor. Willingness to work alternate shift hours in support of off-shift activities, startups, and shutdowns as needed. Comfortable working in a team-based, safety-critical manufacturing environment.
