Viking Plastics offers advanced capabilities including two-shot molding, insert molding, and automated assembly cells to support complex customer requirements. With locations in Corry, PA, Jeffersonville, IN, and Louisville, KY, the organization serves a broad range of industries with a focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. Role Description The Process Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Corry, PA. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and monitoring injection molding equipment to ensure stable production, optimal cycle times, and consistent part quality. Day-to-day tasks include performing process changes, troubleshooting equipment and production issues, completing routine preventive maintenance, and documenting process parameters. The Process Technician collaborates with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues, implement improvements, and support new tooling or product launches. This role also assists in training production team members on proper machine operation, safety practices, and quality standards. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for injection molding equipment and related production processes. Experience in process engineering or process optimization within a manufacturing or plastics environment. Background in quality control, including adherence to specifications and use of basic measurement tools. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Ability to train and support production team members in safe, efficient, and quality-focused operations. Understanding of injection molding principles, materials handling, and machine setup procedures. Attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or relevant manufacturing experience preferred. Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime as needed, and follow all safety and company policies.
