Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support and resolve manufacturing process issues to maintain productivity and quality. Develop robust, efficient manufacturing processes to support new product launches. Improve and optimize existing processes to reduce risk, increase throughput, and enhance reliability. Design and implement production fixtures, tooling, and gauges to improve operational efficiency. Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet engineering drawing specifications and quality standards. Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams and continuous improvement initiatives. Evaluate and implement employee-generated ideas that drive process improvements, safety, and productivity. Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk products. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience performing tolerance stack-up analysis. Understanding of secondary manufacturing processes including plating, coatings, welding, and brazing. Knowledge of 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining operations and capabilities. Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Manufacturing and/or machining experience preferred. Excellent mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting ability. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on machinist experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience developing machining processes for metallic and/or composite componentsSimilar remote jobs
