Tulsa, OK (Onsite) We're partnering with an established food ingredients manufacturing company to find a Senior Process Engineer who is passionate about driving operational excellence through process optimization and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and plant performance. Identify and execute cost savings and productivity improvement projects using process and operational data. Support the design, review, and implementation of capital (CapEx) projects. Lead cross-functional process improvement and Operational Excellence/Kaizen initiatives. Develop and maintain process engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, and mass and energy balances. Support HAZOP, Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), and risk assessments. Provide technical leadership during equipment startups, troubleshooting, and process investigations. Mentor engineers and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 5-8+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (senior-level candidates encouraged to apply). Proven experience leading chemical process optimization and process improvement projects that deliver measurable savings. Experience supporting engineering design reviews and CapEx projects. Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in industries such as chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, paper, or oil & gas is highly preferred. Knowledge of PSM, HAZOP, utilities, or wastewater systems is a plus.
