Role Purpose:
Mark Anthony Brewing is hiring a Controls Engineer to provide troubleshooting, and maintenance of all automation and controls systems in our manufacturing facility. This is your opportunity to be a part of an innovative team in a brand new, state-of-the-art brewing facility in Columbia, SC.
Accountabilities & Impact:
As a Controls Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Provide instrumentation and controls troubleshooting support for manufacturing operations team Working with electronic control systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control elements used in automated processes Testing instrumentation and control systems and maintaining test equipment Tests accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system, using test equipment, such as pressure gauges, oscilloscopes, and multimeter Consulting manuals, reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics Repairing and adjusting controls system components or removing and replacing defective parts Installing control and measurement instruments on existing or new plant equipment Provide training to maintenance technicians and operations team on equipment use and troubleshooting Work on assign continuous improvement projects assigned by CI leadership team Foster collaborative and organizational learning Provide process engineering support for manufacturing operations Proficient with personal computers and business applications This role is a salary-based opportunity with a company target bonus incentive. Schedule and shifts consist of days, nights and weekends in 24/7 support. (No DuPont schedule) Skills & Experiences Needed to
Be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred. Relevant experience with PLC programming also considered. 3 to 5 years applicable experience in industrial manufacturing (brewery experience a plus) Certified Allen Bradley (Studio 5000, Factory Talk SE and ME, and Asset Centre) preferred, not required. Experience with high speed packaging equipment desired. The Controls Engineer position is well-suited for you if you: Works with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to navigate through sometimes ambiguous, results-oriented, and somewhat unstructured environments Strategic problem solver with strong problem-solving skills. Does not need all information to navigate effectively. Able to succeed in a changing environment. Ability to intelligently course correct as priorities change. Demonstrates agility within a dynamic environment. Demonstrates a hands-on demeanor and attention to detail. Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
