Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machining Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing machining processes, developing efficient manufacturing workflows, and ensuring the highest quality standards across production lines. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance process reliability, and support the manufacturing of complex components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and industrial engineering principles, with extensive experience in CNC programming, robotics, and process engineering within a manufacturing environment. Duties Develop, implement, and optimize machining processes for a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, ensuring efficiency and quality. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design tooling, fixtures, and process layouts that improve production throughput. Program CNC machines and robotic systems to automate machining operations while maintaining strict adherence to technical specifications. Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations or defects to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with design engineers to review schematics and technical drawings for manufacturability using GD&T standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives employing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity. Develop and maintain schematics, process documentation, and work instructions aligned with
ISO 9001
standards. Oversee factory equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate project scheduling activities to meet production deadlines while managing resource allocation effectively. Support factory floor activities by providing technical guidance on fabrication, assembly line operations, and tooling selection. Implement vision inspection systems and industrial equipment upgrades to improve quality control measures. Engage in factory experience projects involving welding, fabrication, tooling development, and assembly line optimization. Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Minimum of three years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing facility or similar industrial setting. Proven expertise in CNC programming (G-code), CAM programming software (such as Mastercam or Fusion 360), and robot programming. Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining operations, tooling design, fabrication techniques, and industrial equipment maintenance. Hands-on experience with plastics injection molding processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with Schematics drawing interpretation and CAD tools including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving techniques. Experience working with
ISO 9001
quality management systems is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage project scheduling effectively while coordinating cross-functional teams.
