Description:

Our client is looking for a process engineer to help out with API manufacturing and special projects around the site. Special projects include driving yield improvements, optimization of cycle times, supporting investigations, and execute functional tests and IQ/OQ for rockwell factory talk automation 2.0. This person would need some familiarity with automation and validating HMI's preferably factory talk automation 2.0. Day-to-day tasks will consist of being on the manufacturing floor, problem solving, continued process verification and more.

Education/Experience/Skills Needed:

Process Manufacturing in a pharmaceutical environment (Pharma batch manufacturing) Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or other related technical discipline Chemical processing experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical production environment. Ability to read P&ID's, Process Flow Diagrams, and perform mass and energy balances. Especially with any/all of these aspects: batch reactors, agitation systems, filter dryers, filtrations, acids/base reactions, solids/API handling and bulk packing equipment, vacuum transfer systems, vacuum pumps, heat exchangers, condensers, and pulse-jet filters
