Responsibilities Timely NCR Root Cause Verification with Corrective and Preventative Actions. CAR Team Participation - For Process Related Root Cause Verification, Correction and Prevention. Assist in ongoing training as it relates to CAR corrective and preventative actions, process enhancements, and system improvements. Perform new process development, including: APQP Participation Molding Process Setup (In Mold Rheology, 95% fill at transfer, etc.) Completing MRR process for feedback to APQP Leader/Team. Robot Programming and Modification Cell setup (Tooling, Material Drying, Hot Runner, TCU, etc.) New and Transfer Tools Sampling Production Readiness Tasks (including Job Books and Tooling PM Files setup.) Samples for Corporate Quality to Develop Inspection Instruction Standard Completion of Post Processing Standards Form Travel related to Transfer Tool Package fact-finding missions, prior to final quote and transfer. Preliminary and Final Tooling review and signoff process. Champion of the development and/or improvement of product-specific end of arm tooling or fixtures. Production Run Support:
Assistance in Initial Robotic/Work Cell Setup Training Monitoring/Auditing Process Analyze Run Performance Feedback toAPQP Team, Plant Operations Manager, and VP of Operations Secondary Responsibilities:
Assist the Operations Manager in directives outlined for improving the plant, including QOS Corrective actions for poor monthly performance or trends. Process audits to assure correct regrind percentage, cell setup, and processing parameters are in line with the PPAP process. Process Interruption Improvements - First Run to Last Run without unintended interruptions. Overall Scrap Reduction - Real Time Scrap, Inventory Scrap and Part Per Carton Accuracy. Unscheduled Downtime Improvements Working with Maintenance to help diagnose process/equipment related issues. Maintain Project Management System for items related to Process Development. Assist in Gage R&R and Cpk Studies for new and transfer programs. Assist in training production personnel on new launches, product types, technology introduced into PRISM's system. Develop and/or update the Job Instructions (Job Books) during the development and managing change processes. Any other job responsibilities as assigned. Job Qualifications Training and Work experience preferred: A minimum of five years of applicable Injection Molding work experience. Experience with computer and/or computer related systems. High school diploma or GED Must have basic math skills including the ability to read and write. Blueprint Reading College Degree Knowledge of Automotive and Injection Molding Process/markets (Preferred) Essential Physical demands: Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching Reach above shoulders Climb or balance Use foot/feet to operate machine Weight to be lifted or force exerted: From 15 pounds and up to 100 pounds or more (with assistance) Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
