You will play a critical role in driving manufacturing excellence by refining process parameters and ensuring the highest standards of product integrity through expert troubleshooting and machine management. Responsibilities Execute machine setups and complex mold changeovers to maintain continuous production flow. Analyze and resolve molding defects such as flash, short shots, and sink marks to minimize scrap and maximize yield. Fine-tune process variables including cycle times, cooling rates, and injection pressures to achieve optimal cycle efficiency. Conduct rigorous first-piece inspections and maintain detailed documentation of process adjustments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment maintenance and resolve mechanical bottlenecks. Implement preventive maintenance protocols to ensure long-term equipment reliability and safety. Utilize blueprint reading and technical specifications to ensure all parts meet strict quality benchmarks. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience in an injection molding environment. Proven expertise in independent mold setup and mechanical troubleshooting. Strong understanding of plastic resin properties and material behavior. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and quality standards. Demonstrated history of reliability and proactive problem-solving in manufacturing. Preferred Skills Certification or formal training in scientific molding principles (e.g., RJG). Experience working with automated systems and robotics integration. Background in high-volume production environments. Familiarity with plastic extrusion or compounding processes.
