GlobalFoundries Fab 9 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Laboratory Technician (Complex Analysis Technician) to become a part of our team in Essex Junction, Vermont. The position will require proficiency in various chemistry analysis lab techniques. This position is for a 5x2 shift.Essential Responsibilities:
As a chemical laboratory technician (Complex Analysis Technician) you will be responsible for completing a large variety of wet chemical analyses, preparation of analytical standard solutions and sample solutions, independently running instruments, basic maintenance of a diverse set of instruments, chemical and consumable ordering and chemical waste disposal. Previous experience with general laboratory work and the proper handling of hazardous substances Experience performing some inorganic analyses such as titrations Experience with some common analytical instruments such as UV/Vis, ICP-OES, ion chromatography, HPLC, GC-MS, GC-FID Steady hands and dedication to precise measurements Experience performing general instrument maintenance A good communicator Willingness to learn and willingness to work Proficient in Microsoft Suite Ability to work independently while still embracing a teamwork mentalityOther Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:
Education- Associate's degree in related field Expeience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Chemistry or a related discipline or equivalent military training/experience. Prior experience in working in a laboratory environment Expected Salary Range $48,200.00- $83,200.
