Process Engineer Internship:

Provide technical support to operations by spending time on the floor learning processes, troubleshooting, and leading and/or participating on multiple process improvement teams.

Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.

Year-round internship What we're looking for: Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level. Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software:

Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to succeed in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Preferred experience:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment. AutoCAD experience. What you'll focus on: Investigate, evaluate and develop project estimates for a variety of operational business challenges at Charter Wire. Design solutions to resolve challenges throughout the building via AutoCad (SolidWorks) part creation with occasional utilization of 3D printing. Manage process data collection and analysis as part of project tracking and completion.
