Job Description

Build a Long-Term Career in Heavy Civil Construction Not all Field Engineer roles are the same. Some keep you in a narrow lane. Others give you real exposure, responsibility, and a path to grow. This is one of those opportunities. We are working with a well-established heavy civil contractor specializing in complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, marine, and energy work. They are looking for a Field Engineer who wants to be part of projects that matter and grow into a long-term career.
What You'll Do:
Be part of the Project Management team and support projects from start to finish Work directly with project managers, engineers, and field crews Help manage schedules, track quantities, and support cost control Interpret plans and specifications and ensure work is built correctly Assist with coordination of materials, subcontractors, and site activities Support surveying, layout, and as-built documentation Contribute to safety and quality on-site
What They're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Exposure to heavy civil, construction, or project management (internships count) Familiarity with software such as P6, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar is a plus Willingness to travel within the region Strong work ethic and desire to grow in construction
