Company Events that celebrate our teamwork and success. How you will make an impact Prepare detailed cost estimates for plan/spec industrial construction projects. Develop conceptual and schematic budgets for design/build projects. Perform quantity take-offs and analyze material and labor costs. Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing. Identify value engineering opportunities and support project pricing strategy. Participate in conceptual system layout, equipment selection, and preliminary mechanical/piping design. Support development of process flow concepts and early-stage project planning. Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and engineering partners to develop technical proposals. Evaluate project schedules, constructability, and potential risks during the preconstruction phase. Coordinate with project management, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth project handoff and accurate cost planning. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical degree preferred and/or applicable industry experience. Experience in estimating, preconstruction, or project engineering within industrial construction environments. Experience supporting projects involving Process and Utility Piping System s , preferably within food, beverage, or dairy processing facilities. Minimum 3+ years' experience performing quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and conceptual budgeting for construction projects. Ability to review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams during the preconstruction phase. Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheets, and construction management software. Understanding of industrial mechanical systems, piping layouts, and constructability considerations. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
