BGE, Inc. is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Central Arkansas Leader to help grow, lead, and strengthen our presence in the Central Arkansas market. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a proven industry leader with pertinent experience in BGE's areas of practice. BGE is looking for a seasoned professional who can build trusted client relationships, lead teams, support project delivery, and help shape the next phase of BGE's growth in Arkansas. ARDOT experience and professional engineering license are preferred but not required. Position Summary The Central Arkansas Leader will serve in a visible leadership role, supporting existing clients while developing new client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, supporting strategic pursuits, and creating alignment across local and regional teams. The right person will bring a strong combination of technical credibility, business development confidence, operational discipline, and people leadership. Requirements Lead and support Central Arkansas office operations with a focus on growth, client service, team development, and consistent project delivery. Build, maintain, and expand relationships with public and private clients, local agencies, community partners, and industry contacts. Partner with BGE leaders across offices and disciplines to bring the right resources, expertise, and solutions to clients. Support business development efforts, including market strategy, client positioning, proposals, presentations, and pursuit planning. Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for local team members through workload planning, coaching, and professional development. Oversee project execution with attention to quality, schedule, budget, communication, and compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. Represent BGE in client meetings, community conversations, professional organizations, and industry events to strengthen market presence. Help create a collaborative, growth-minded office culture built on trust, responsiveness, technical excellence, and client service. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive civil engineering or related professional services experience, including client-facing project delivery. 3-5+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated success leading teams, operations, projects, or a technical practice. Professional licensure in one of BGE's business lines is preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Arkansas is a strong plus. Experience developing client relationships, supporting business development, and helping win work in a consulting environment. Strong understanding of civil engineering project delivery, design coordination, quality control, and multi-discipline collaboration. ARDOT, municipal, public infrastructure, land/site development, transportation, drainage, utilities, or related Arkansas market experience preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients, public agencies, community stakeholders, and internal teams.
