Full Job Description Job Summary :

Under the direction of the Supervisor Power Plant, this position performs Building Engineer and Power Plant activities associated with repair, maintenance, and associated documentation to maintain a safe and attractive hospital environment.

Job Qualifications :
Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Specialized Training:

Must have a certification for refrigerant recovery (EPA Universal Certification)

Certification/licensure :

Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license. Requires possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid AZ issued driver's license in good standing, and must carry the AZ legally required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle at all times. This position requires operation of a vehicle. Employment is contingent upon meeting the driving eligibility standards outlined in the Valleywise Health Vehicle Use Policy (VUP).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English. Must have a creativity, initiative and independent thinking, and problem-solving skills are strongly preferred. Must have working knowledge of fire protection codes, plumbing and other building systems codes, OSHA requirements, and knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures. Must have working knowledge preventative maintenance and work order software systems Great customer service and communication skills Must have willingness and aptitudes to work effectively with others within the formal or informal structure of teams or groups Must have inner motivation and confidence to achieve successful results

Hourly Pay Rate:

$25.96 - $38.29
