About the Company An established general contractor with a long track record across a broad range of commercial and multifamily markets, delivering via general contracting, design/build, and construction management. Job Description The Project Engineer is the central hub of communication between the Superintendent, Project Manager, client, and architect - a hands-on role with strong exposure to every facet of a project and a clear path to grow. Select Responsibilities Serve as the communication link between the Superintendent, PM, client, and architect Support material take-offs, subcontractor and supplier quotes, scheduling, and monthly progress billings Manage the submittal process, permits, field start-up support, and project reporting Assist with subcontractor awards, punch-list monitoring, and cost- and time-saving measures Coordinate closeout documentation and warranty follow-ups with the project team Ideal Candidate Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related construction field Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively Excellent written and verbal communication Client-focused, professional, with a strong work ethic and integrity Eager to deepen knowledge of building codes and design principles and grow technical and managerial skills Local to the Phoenix / Arizona market What's on Offer Competitive base plus annual performance bonus Full health, dental, and vision; 401(k) with company match PTO, paid holidays, and paid medical leave Tuition reimbursement and a professional development stipend Wellness and mental-health support (plus perks like pet insurance) Hands-on exposure across project management, estimating, and field operations - strong growth path
