Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and electrical standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive elec Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workilar software, tracking progress and adjusting plans as necessary. Review blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation. Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, contract negotiations, and vendor selection. Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), safety regulations, and quality standards. Monitor project performance metrics such as cost control, schedule adherence, and resource allocation. Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and resolve technical issues promptly. Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders. Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for document management, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and communication. Ensure effective project coordination among all parties involved in construction activities. Skills Proven experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in system design and schematic interpretation. Extensive knowledge of construction management principles and project management methodologies. Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6; familiarity with HeavyBid is a plus. Strong understanding of NEC standards, blueprint reading, and electrical code compliance. Experience with construction estimating tools like Primavera P6 or similar platforms. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members. Demonstrated ability in contracts management, time management, and construction site supervision. Familiarity with construction document software including Bluebeam; experience with ProCore is advantageous. #
