Qualifications:
This position has a Selective Placement Factor (SPF) which is CURRENT registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you MUST provide a copy of your current registration with your application. Note
  • a copy of a wall certificate, without an expiration date, will not serve to verify this requirement.
In addition to the SPF and Basic Education Requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Applying civil engineering theories, concepts, regulations, and practices to deliver products and services; 2) Providing technical guidance in developing civil engineering and construction projects; 3) Developing and presenting technical data, studies, and reports on engineering projects.
