Concord, CA Firm Description:
Ficcadenti Waggoner and Castle Structural Engineers (FWC) was established in 1991 to provide structural engineering services to a diverse group of high-quality clients. FWC has over 70 employees with 4 offices nationwide. Throughout our company, we believe that knowledge, experience, and education are the key components to be a successful partner with our clients. FWC designs parking structures, theme parks, theaters, large retail centers, fitness centers, hotels, multifamily residential buildings, university facilities, airport facilities, and commercial buildings. We design using concrete, steel, aluminum, masonry, timber, cold formed steel, fiber reinforced plastic, and other materials. Our qualifications and experience enable us to back our creative solutions with fundamental engineering principles. Our engineers use the latest analytical software combined with a hands-on approach with significant contractor interaction. Our design and graphics departments utilize the latest drafting and three-dimensional modeling packages to develop quality designs, reports, and construction documents.
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking applicants with minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team.
The job responsibilities include:
1. Designing significant structures using concrete, steel, wood, masonry, timber, cold-formed steel, and fiber reinforced plastic. 2. Developing designs using prefabricated construction 3. Interacting with clients 4. Conducting site inspections and interacting with contractors 5. Developing client relationships
Job Qualifications:
Applicants must have the following qualifications: 1. BS degree required; MS degree preferred 2. PE license preferred 3. Knowledge of software such as SAP, ETABS, RISA, Enercalc, Bluebeam and Revit are preferred 4. Be self-motivated 5. Be team oriented 6. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills 7. Have ability to develop innovative solutions for complex problems
Benefits and Pay:
FWC offers the following benefits and pay: 1.
Base Salary:
Negotiable 2.
Overtime:
1.5 times base rate 3.
Bonuses:
Semi-annual 4. Tax deferred profit sharing for all employees: 7.5% of total annual gross compensation with 5-year vesting. 100% employer paid 5.
Medical and dental:
100% employer paid 6. 401K program 7. Selected employee seminars or professional organizations: 100% paid 8. Annual retreat (Recent retreats have been at various winter or summer resorts): 100% paid FWC is an equal opportunity employer.
