Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for engineers with 2-5 years of professional experience who is eager to apply their technical knowledge, gain hands-on design experience, and grow within the civil engineering profession. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers on a variety of projects, including grading, drainage, utility design, site development, and public works improvements. This role will require the majority of work to be performed in-office; applicants must be local. Key Responsibilities Manage portions of projects including design, permitting, and plan production. Oversee junior engineers in the preparation of design documents. Conduct hydrology, grading, and utility system analyses. Develop construction documents and permit applications. Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and reviewing agencies. Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives. Use CAD and Civil 3D software to design grading, drainage, and utility systems. Collaborate with team members to develop efficient, constructible, and cost-effective designs. Attend site visits and assist with fieldwork as needed. Proficiency on local codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (required). Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
