The engineer will prepare technical reports, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage project deliverables from investigation through construction support.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct geotechnical site investigations including borehole logging, sampling, and in-situ testing to characterize subsurface conditions.
Perform soil mechanics analyses for bearing capacity, settlement, consolidation, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, and groundwater effects.
Develop foundation and earth-retaining structure designs (e.g., shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, pile systems) in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Plan and oversee laboratory testing programs and interpret results for use in design and reporting.
