La Verne, CA Job Details Full-time $5,000 - $10,000 a month 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Bachelor of Science Revit Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Civil Engineering Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BS Degree/ PE license Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the design of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with all regulations. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of preliminary project estimates and schedules for new project submittals. Responsible for coordinating, organizing, tracking, updating and/or expediting the flow of information, files, drawings, permits and correspondence. Participate in, and lead, assigned elements of projects closeout including punch list, owner turnover manuals, and required owner training. Participate in weekly planners/subcontractor meetings and track weekly planner data. Coordinate and manage materials with the construction Manager team and subcontractors. This includes the timely delivery, receiving, quality control, staging, secure storage, deployment and tracking. Assist Project Manager with extra work orders (EWOs) presented by subcontractors and help with determining accuracy/validity. Assist Project Managers with the creation and management of project schedules, logistics, plans and subcontractors and material coordination plans. Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D for design and modeling purposes. Strong understanding of engineering principles related to structural design. Experience in system design with a focus on safety and sustainability. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively. Strong mathematical skills for performing complex calculations required in structural analysis. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
