The Senior Engineer provides senior leadership, mentorship, and decisive guidance on the technical management of engineering aspects of facility construction (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, safety). The Engineer provides consultative services on engineering aspects of building structures, supporting overall technical quality, cost, and schedule. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering leadership and technical direction across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and safety disciplines for facility construction and renovation projects. Review and resolve engineering issues associated with construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings. Support overall design integration including scheduling, cost estimating, and constructability reviews. Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and federal client stakeholders on technical issues, RFIs, and submittals. Provide guidance regarding technical quality, cost, and schedule of engineering deliverables. The Senior Engineer mentors junior engineers and support quality assurance reviews of engineering deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
