: As the largest employer of students on the Cal Poly Pomona campus, the Foundation offers valuable work experience and hands-on training to approximately 1,500 Cal Poly Pomona students each year. SUMMARY :
The research associate will assist the project directors with all aspects of the project that is related to water reclamation and advanced wastewater treatment pilot testing in San Jacinto Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility.
SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
(this is just a small sampling of work variety): The research associate will assist in various task of the project including but not limited to library studies, literature review, site work, field data collection, water sampling and analysis, quality control, quality assurance, experimental design, data analysis, meeting attendance, and development of project reports.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be a current student of civil or environmental engineering program or related engineering majors with some level of technical academic research experience.
PREFERRED
Internship experience in engineering field. Water research training/experience is preferred. Possess good writing communication, self-starter, and leadership skills and have the ability work in a team setting and to positively interact with other students, faculty and staff.
