$70,000•$115,000 DOE (plus benefits, bonus potential, and professional development opportunities) About Us Armer/Norman is a dynamic general contractor based in the Bay Area, delivering high-quality commercial construction projects on time and within budget. We're expanding our team and seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our project management efforts in a fast-paced environment. We're considered a growing but small/medium size GC operating in niche industries. Your employment will have a direct impact on the project and company's success and growth•you will not be lost in the numbers as you would with a bigger GC. Job Summary We are looking for a Project Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience working for a general contractor. The ideal candidate will assist Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating all aspects of commercial construction projects, from submittals and RFIs to closeout. Proficiency in Procore is essential, as it's our primary project management software. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages using Procore. Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure smooth project execution. Track project schedules, budgets, and progress; prepare reports and updates. Support quality control, safety compliance, and on-site coordination. Review plans, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance. Handle procurement, material tracking, and logistics. Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role with a general contractor (commercial projects preferred). Proven hands-on experience with Procore software (e.g., managing drawings, submittals, RFIs, daily logs, and financials). Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
