A highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Engineer to lead and coordinate complex construction projects from inception to completion. Duties Oversee daily construction site operations, supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to schedule and specifications. Coordinate project schedules using construction scheduling software, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare reports to ensure financial objectives are met. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, tracking progress, and communication across teams. Conduct quality control inspections and oversee construction schedule coordination to maintain high standards of workmanship. Review contracts and manage contractual obligations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Supervise the management of heavy equipment like Ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary. Lead project meetings, manage team communication effectively, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track. Experience Proven experience in commercial construction management roles with a strong background in managing medium and large-scale projects. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams on construction sites while maintaining safety standards and productivity. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety protocols (including OSHA), blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Experience with Public Works, DIR, Prevailing Wage etc. a plus Familiarity with contracts management, budgeting processes, and quality control procedures within the construction industry. Strong communication skills for effective management of crews, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including safety management practices aligned with federal regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately while coordinating construction schedules efficiently. Previous experience supervising crews in commercial or pipeline projects is advantageous; familiarity with managing large teams is essential.
