RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the Project Management staff to assist with day to day project activities. Participate in company trainings
Project Planning and Coordination:
Assist in the development of logistics plans, schedules, and budgets Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all parties understand and adhere to the project's requirements Participate in project meetings to provide updates on the project's progress, and address potential issues
Procurement and Resource Management:
Assist with the vendor on-boarding process (jobwalk, bid questions, bid submission) Understand, manage and track RFI's, Submittals and Drawing distribution Maintain and manage submittal logs and procurement logs, continually tracking updates on lead times and arrival dates
Construction Oversight:
Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring quality control and safety compliance Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and assess potential risks or delays Facilitate questions that arise from the field to ensure they are applicable and complete to submit to the design team Meet with the architect/design team to walk the project site to resolve design issues/questions Assist in ensuring that work is being completed on time and within budget Manage Openspace updates on a weekly basis.
Quality Control and Safety:
Implement and enforce safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all construction personnel Ensure quality control measures are followed throughout the project lifecycle Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to prevent accidents
Budget and Cost Control:
Assist in tracking the project budget, ensuring that construction costs stay within the allocated amount Assist in putting together subcontract change orders Assist in identifying cost-saving measures without compromising quality
Communication:
Provide regular project status reports to project manager, highlighting any risks, delays, or budget concerns Address client requests, concerns, and changes in scope, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
Project Closeout:
Facilitate and manage the punch-list process. Ensuring all punch-list items are completed and closed out in a timely manner Assist the Project Coordinators in compiling as-built drawings and documents for project handover Support the project manager in finalizing contracts and gathering all final change orders
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree with Engineering, Construction or Architectural Major Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, and project management techniques Proficient in plan reading Proficient in project scheduling Professional written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while staying organized Reflect company core values - Fair, Grateful, Nimble with a Passion to Deliver Client-centric mindset We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
