Job Description:
This position is a vital member of our construction team, providing project engineering support to Project Executives, Superintendents, and Accountants. Job Duties

Management Duties:
Attend project meetings. Prepare and distribute weekly meeting minutes. Submit and track outstanding Requests for Information (RFIs) and expedite return responses using Procore. Communicate timely responses to the project team. Review, coordinate, transmit, and track Submittals and RFI's Update and disseminate weekly and monthly project reports Track potential cost items and aid in preparation of Change Order Requests Facilitate dissemination of approved Subcontractor change orders Track and maintain current project construction documents Track and maintain all survey, deputy, and material testing reports Coordinate project closeout: document punch list, manage completion of punch list, obtain subcontractor warranty letters and as-builts, and produce Client closeout manuals Assist with the preparation, distribution and maintenance of schedules. Assist with and ensure the timely delivery to the jobsite of all project equipment and materials (procurement). Assist in the evaluation of field problems and documentation of RFIs. Assist in preparing and tracking Subcontracts Assist in obtaining permits
Technical Duties:
Strong understanding of construction documentation including ability to read plans, and spec books, General knowledge of subcontracts including scopes of work, and schedules of value General understanding of construction scheduling including CPM (critical path method) schedules
Administrative Duties:
Prepare and maintain Submittals, RFI's, Change Events using Procore Prepare and maintain Submittal, RFI, Change Order, Material/Procurement, Subcontract, Insurance, and Time Impact Analysis logs using MS Excel Compile contract close out documents (O&M manuals, As-Builts, etc.) and manage in Procore Prepare and distribute meeting minutes. Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications, and logs. Ensure that all subcontractors receive documents relative to their contracted work. Assist in mock-up and field testing. Set up and maintain project filing system. Understanding of construction administration processes, including construction documents, schedules, RFIs, submittals and material procurement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience in a related field preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to produce professional correspondence. Must be able to read, wright, and speak English fluently Very strong organizational skills, disciplined, and a self-starter Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), MS Project, Procore, and Blue Beam Must possess strong typing skills
Work Environment:
This position includes a mix between home and field office locations, as such reliable, personal transportation is required. This position will regularly be in the field on active construction sites which require the physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, and use passenger construction personnel hoists. Employees in this position must be comfortable navigating active construction sites, able to use small handheld tools including but not limited to: tablets, smart phones, tape measures, and levels. Active construction sites include exposure to moving parts and equipment, high/precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
