Now offering a Project Engineer

  • Internship in our Heavy Civil Division in Denver, CO where the selected intern will experience training from experienced Corporate Project Engineers in fields such as Heavy Civil, Bridges, and Piling and Shoring.

We offer both field and office experience depending on the project. Our internships are with the goal to evaluate the candidate's potential as a possible future, full-time employee. We offer internships and opportunity to receive diversified training through on-the-job assignments using the technical skills acquired in college. Each intern will be assigned a mentor to help develop both technical and professional skills.

Internship Work Schedule:

Summer 2027 (May

  • August) Monday
  • Friday. 7:00AM to 5:30PM (working hours could be different)
  • Possible nighttime operations, depending on project
  • Possible part-time work during fall/winter semester (while attending school) Pay for this position is starting at $19.

00 an hour and goes up to $25.00 an hour DOE Position_

Description :
Interns will be expected to assist in:
  • Assists Project Superintendents
  • Assisting in public relations, claims, subcontractor back charges, and force account work
  • Processing all documents required to start-up project as outlined in project checklist.
  • Update and maintain C.P.M. under direction of P.M.
  • Monthly schedule distribution to field and subcontractors.
  • Schedule survey and inspections for field operations.
  • Update and maintain as-Built drawings if required.
  • Tracking quantities to ensure accurate payment by Owner.
  • Managing Blue Stakes.
  • Managing change order correspondence and tracking
Position Requirements :

Requirements Junior or Senior (highly preferred) Minimum

GPA 2.75

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering Past construction work experience is preferred
