•85,000+ DOE About the Role We are seeking a motivated Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join our team in the Denver metro area. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction career who is looking to grow within an established commercial General Contractor. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in construction, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field . Candidates without a degree but with hands-on commercial construction experience are encouraged to apply. The Project Engineer will support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the construction process, helping coordinate documentation, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and project communications. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day administration of commercial construction projects Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documents Assist with subcontractor and vendor coordination Prepare, track, and maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation Assist with project schedules and procurement tracking Review subcontractor invoices and pay applications Help track project costs, budgets, and commitments Participate in project meetings and document meeting notes and action items Assist with material procurement and delivery coordination Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal project teams Assist with quality control and project closeout activities Maintain accurate project records and documentation Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with other project needs as required Qualifications 0-3 years of construction experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred Commercial construction experience strongly preferred for candidates without a degree Understanding of commercial construction processes and terminology Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software is a plus Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is driven, organized, and eager to build a career in commercial construction .
