  • Master's degree in Civil (Structures), Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering Job Description Insight Global is seeking Structural Engineers to contribute to solving highly complex engineering problems.
This team applies advanced engineering mechanics, finite element analysis (FEA), material science, and solid dynamics to support submarine design, manufacturing, and risk assessment efforts. The Structural Engineers will collaborate cross-functionally with design, testing, and fabrication teams, as well as external partners across the Navy, industry, and academia, to deliver practical and innovative solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis using finite element modeling (FEM/FEA) tools
  • Develop analysis plans, methods, and acceptance criteria based on Navy and industry standards
  • Support design and engineering of structural-mechanical systems for submarine programs
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate manufacturing processes
  • Oversee and support physical testing efforts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication/construction issues
  • Author technical reports, presentations, and formal engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders
Compensation:
$42-70/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
