full-time About DACG, Inc. DACG, Inc. is a growing general contractor (GC) based in Central Florida, focused on delivering high-quality projects for K-12 schools, public entities, and private owners. In addition, we self-perform a variety of specialty scopes, including aluminum canopies, concrete flatwork and sidewalks, sports courts, and other site improvements. Position Overview The Project Engineer plays an important role in supporting the successful execution of commercial construction projects. Working as part of the project team, this position helps coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, support subcontractor and vendor communication, track schedules and costs, and assist with project closeout. Key Responsibilities

  • Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications, with support from the Project Manager, to build understanding of project scope and trade responsibilities.
  • Support coordination of subcontractor meetings, owner meetings, and project communication with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, shop drawings, Requests for Information (RFIs), meeting minutes, change orders and action items.
  • Assist with procurement planning and coordination with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Review subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices for accuracy and support tracking of change orders and issue resolution.
  • Support project budget tracking, invoices and monthly payment applications.
  • Conduct job site visits and support quality and safety reviews in coordination with field leadership.
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including commissioning coordination, owner training coordination, and close-out documentation. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, and taking ownership of deadlines and follow-ups.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Experience in commercial construction, working with subcontractors, vendors, and project documentation preferred. Additional Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
