Project Engineer Deerfield Beach, FL | Full-Time | On-Site About Our Client Our client is a long-standing and highly respected player in the material handling and industrial automation industry, serving customers throughout the Michigan and South Florida markets for decades. While historically known as a leading forklift dealership, the organization has continued expanding its presence across broader warehouse solutions including pallet racking, conveyor systems, dock and door equipment, and automated systems. As growth within the Warehouse Products division continues, our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support outside sales representatives, sales engineers, vendors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle. Position Overview This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a long-term career within the rapidly growing industrial automation and warehouse solutions industry. The Project Coordinator will play a critical role supporting the company's Warehouse Products and automation-related initiatives by assisting with quoting, vendor coordination, project execution support, customer communication, and overall operational coordination. This role is designed to help free up bandwidth for outside sales and engineering professionals while providing valuable exposure to real-world warehouse and automation projects. The position sits at the intersection of sales support, project coordination, warehouse solutions, and industrial automation execution. This is a highly collaborative, in-office role based in Deerfield Beach, FL. Candidates who are organized, mechanically curious, eager to learn, and interested in growing into more technical or customer-facing responsibilities over time are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist outside sales representatives and sales engineers with quote generation and proposal support Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and project-related information Support project execution and customer communication as projects move into implementation Help manage administrative and coordination-related tasks tied to warehouse products and automation projects Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and end users to help ensure projects progress smoothly and professionally Maintain organized project documentation, vendor information, and quote records Assist in gathering technical and product information related to customer solutions Learn the company's products, systems, vendors, and operational processes over time Provide day-to-day support that allows sales representatives and engineers to remain focused on customer development and project execution Qualifications Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Professional demeanor with a willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces at once Exposure to supply chain, warehousing, logistics, industrial equipment, construction products, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus CAD familiarity or exposure is a plus, but not required Experience supporting projects, operations, vendors, customers, or sales teams is a plus Mechanically curious or technically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply Fluent English required; Spanish language skills are a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills required Why This Opportunity Stands Out This is an opportunity to join a stable, growth-oriented organization while gaining exposure to the exciting and rapidly evolving industrial automation industry.
