Civil EngineerLocation:
Fort Myers, FLSalary:
$100,000 - $180,000 (Based on Experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to design, permit, and support construction of site development and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on civil design and engineering for stormwater, sewer and water systems, grading, paving and utilities across commercial, industrial and heavy civil projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign civil engineering solutions for site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.

Prepare construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.

Develop stormwater management, erosion control, and permitting plans.

Design water, sewer, and lift station infrastructure.

Create site layouts, grading plans, paving details, and coordinate with structural teams.

Produce and revise plans using CAD/Civil 3D and related software.

Support permitting, agency coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Provide construction support, including submittal reviews, RFIs, inspections, and site visits.

Prepare cost estimates, schedules, scopes of work, and proposal materials.

Conduct QA/QC reviews and mentor junior staff.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and construction challenges.

QualificationsBS in Civil Engineering required.

Civil engineering experience in site development and infrastructure projects.

PE license preferred or ability to obtain.3+ years of experience, ideally in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, drainage design, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

Knowledge of stormwater management, permitting, grading, excavation, and erosion control.

Experience with water, sewer, lift station design, and utility coordination.

Preferred experience: environmental or structural engineering, land development, utilities, paving, site work, permitting, and construction management.
